On a weekend in the year of 2007, founder Anna Hudson and her mother Kim made a batch of soap in their home kitchen using a recipe from a newspaper article. The first bar of soap ever made was shaped like a turtle, and contained oatmeal, and Lavender essential oil. Anna remembers how excited she was to use the soap because of its unique shape. She and her mom continued to make bar soap on occasion over the years, but after time went on and life got busy, soap making fizzled. Once Anna was in high school, she became an after school nanny to 3 boys. She was responsible for getting them off of the school bus, assisting them in getting their homework completed, and making sure they took their baths before their mom and dad returned home from work. Bath time was not always a breeze, as many times young children put up a fuss. Anna thought back to her own childhood and remembered how much she loved bath time when she was able to use her turtle shaped soap. She called her mom and reminisced on old times of making soap, and decided to make a batch. She purchased a mold and the ingredients and got to work. She brought a few bars to the boys and all of the sudden, they couldn't wait to get into the tub! Anna continued to make the soap for the boys, and they began telling their friends about it. Many parents began asking to purchase the soap, as they needed a solution to get their kids to WANT to bathe and wash their hands. Anna now offers the soap and other bath products to stores and on her website, making these amazing products available to children and parents all over the country!
